10.10.10 -- Happy Main Ten Jam Day! 10.10.10 in the 10:00 hour of the evening brings us even another 'ten.' Why it's Avril, of course.

Av will be on the cover of November's Maxim. This marks her third cover, her third 'ten' for the men's magazine. It should hit news stands in the USA the day after tomorrow.

There are no details as yet on the interview or the rest of the shots but you know they will be hot. And make me so.

As for the vid, it is another in her long line of fantastic behind-the-scenes. Av is so cool in it. Not only is she running around having so much freaking fun, she is a flipping fantastic host to boot. This video just renews all my faith and joy in her.About the mad-fab-fun, hot-damn-glam vid, I am t-t-totally wild!

AVRIL-MEDIA EXCLUSIVE: This video gets its premier right here and now on A-M. Do you believe it?

Avril appeared on MuchMusic TV's Intimate and Interactive on Friday night, May 28, 2004. This live performance/interview program followed three days after the release of her second album, Under My Skin.

This show marked the second, full-band performance of the UMS promo tour. The first being AOL Broadband Rocks, which took place four days earlier on May 24 in NYC.

Intimate and Interactive is a HQ, pro-shot video. The picture is very good, and the sound is excellent. We are offering a good M2V, as well as a sweet upgrade. It is an NTSC-DVD VOB, with a larger, clearer picture. This was offered not long ago on the torrent site, dimeadozen. But it has since been removed, and appears not to be available elsewhere on the Internet.

So here is once again another A-M exclusive, just for you. Only the good stuff for my good friends.

twm: Well, I think I might say some more, if you will. Just thought I'd start an Avril-Media forum post as a place to list upgrades to existing files at Avril-Media. This so that Avril fans may become aware of their very small but substantial existence. But with no selling involved. We give it all away for free.

Sometimes a file upgrade will demand its own new post, such as moving on up to HD. But at other times, minor upgrades may be added to existing file posts. Or say, HQ alternatives with smaller file sizes. Say no more!

So how does anyone know? How will fans who already have the original file listed, know there is something new now worth checking out? Well, this is an attempt to rectify that situation, to help to spread the knowledge.

Of course, that will mean uploaders will need remember to add to this list when the time comes, and members to read it.

So every once in a while, check back in here, and you may discover new nuggets of Avril fun.

Alas, while A-M tracks the number of file views, it does not show if anyone has downloaded/snatched anything at all.

I have never said that before here. Now you know.

Comments help uploaders determine whether there is interest out there for the type of file that was just uploaded. Comments or the lack thereof, can be a major determining factor of what to post, or even whether to post or not at all in the future.

So if there are no comments, if a conclusion is to be thus drawn, it's that the post is of no apparent use to anyone.

I don't want to waste your time whining about it. So I will try to make this is the last time I bring up the subject. Thank you for reading.

Per Wikipedia, 'Intimate and Interactive is the title of a television program aired on the Canadian music video channel MuchMusic. It is not a regularly scheduled program, but airs on average three or four times a year, and features contemporary artists live in concert at the CHUM-City Building. There is another version of the show on their sister station, MuchMoreMusic.

Typically, the artist will venture outside with the VJ to interact and answer questions from the fans waiting outside to see them.

Intimate and Interactive first appeared in 1992.'

The show is great except for the damn screaming meemies.

Are all the chicks in the crowd gay? I more than doubt it.
So if not, why are they screaming at a girl so much? Not after but during the songs.
Cause they want to be heard. The herd wants to be seen and heard on TV.

How does Avril ever stand it?

'VOTE' with your applause, not with your high-pitched yelling during her singing, OK?

I exaggerate, of course. I shouldn't be so harsh. And it's not really the fault of the fans. It's the point of the whole show, the 'Interactive' bit. It's the fault of the show's cameras. They keep turning to the crowd. Provoking them to lose their grip.

The crowd screams extra-loud through any and all talking, making the interviews an endurance test.

How do I stand the I&I interview, with all the extra helping of 'fans' roaring, with no music to drown them out?
Watch once then skip.

Avril is especially sweet and fun where she talks about how she gets along with different members of her band. That is a gas.

As for the music, I quite like the hard rocking on 'Take Me Away' and 'Unwanted,' where the band lay down the thunder and blast away the crowd's shouts for attention.

On 'Take Me Away,' for the very first time I believe, Avril adds the line, 'Rape me away.'
Coincidence?
(Probably.)

I know I am being mean old me, but I am not addressing that crowd now, as far as I know. I was young once, but I always came to see and hear, not to be seen and heard.

There are some highs here though that the yelling whippersnappers do not manage to ruin, so I am grateful to them for that. Thank you!

Again, I am getting carried away. The show is really fun. See for yourself.

Maybe because that night the song is so new, a bit deep and somewhat of a downer, the insanity hushes long enough to let Av really sing here.

Just like just about every version I've heard, but even more so, this NH is a doozy.

Not that anyone is asking, but IMHO NH is Av's best vocal and song, the song of the decade. The song's sweep always gets to me.

The album 'Under My Skin' came from a dark time and place. Avril says, she wrote the song NH about someone else. But at its core it's about anyone and everyone. From 'No Direction Home,' to what the hell 'There's Nobody Home' anyway...

The brilliant performance of this NH is worth the download alone.

Avril Lavigne - I'm With You (Music Video HQ)

This comes per request for a HQ alternative to the video I'm With You - Upscalling 720p [2002] found here at Avril-Media. Offered up: OGV, MKV's and VOB's.

I'm With You is a song written by Avril and The Matrix (Scott Spock, Lauren Christy, Graham Edwards) for her debut album, Let Go, and was Avril's first ballad released as a single.

It was released as the album's third single November 19, 2002. IWY went No. 1 on American Top 40 Contemporary Hits Radio AND Adult Contemporary. On the singles charts, it peaked at No. 1 in Mexico, reached No. 4 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 (Av's third single to reach the hot top ten), #7 in the United Kingdom, #13 in Canada, and #1 on the Global song chart. IWY reached the top 5 in New Zealand; top 10 in Belgium and the Netherlands; top 20 in Sweden, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Norway and Denmark; and the top 40 in France. IWY received radio and television airplay in Australia, though it was not officially released there.

At the 2004 Grammy Awards, IWY was up for Song of the Year and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance, but lost to Luther Vandross's "Dance with My Father" and Christina Aguilera's "Beautiful" respectively.

The single's music video is directed by renowned photographer David LaChapelle. Avril walks the streets alone, then drops in on a hole in the wall, and finds herself alone there as well. Most of the video is in slow motion but Av's mouth movements are in sync with the song's vocals. This was achieved by recording the footage while the song was played twice as fast as normal.

In the highly recommended A-M release I'm With You (B Roll - 3 Parts) -- some of my caps from that behind-the-scenes video, are featured in this here post -- Avril says the concept of the story for the video was hers.

In 2003, IWY was nominated for the MTV Award for Best Female Video, and it won Choice Love Song at the Teen Choice Awards. Much Music went on to name the video one of the 'Top 100 Best videos of All time'.

Note: In the fall '04, when Avril released the DVD 'My Favorite Videos (So Far),' surprisingly IWY didn't make the cut. But then neither did 'Complicated.' What is on it: 'Losing Grip,' 'Don't Tell Me,' 'My Happy Ending,' and 'Sk8er Boi' twice (music promo, and 'My World' live version).

On a personal note: 'I'm With You' is what won this old man, turned gr8rboi, over to Avril. It made a deep connection.

IWY helped keep me sane in the winter of 2003, at my graveyard shift job where I was hated by most everyone (nothing new there). Anyway, Adult Contemporary was the only radio option on our telephone speakers (MAGIC, 106.7 FM, 'Boston's Continuous Soft Rock'). Each night when IWY would come on, I imagined Avril was singing just to me, that she was right there with me, and then I didn't feel so all alone. I still feel that way even when she sings it today.

The song is mysterious and magical, just like the video. Avril says when she was inspired to write the song, she was alone and missing her boy. But instead of making it sexual and/or romantic, Avril went personal/universal. She reaches out to a stranger in the void.

The singer reveals a desperation, a longing for fellowship, a needing of partnership, a wanting to discover adventure, for someone to show up and put up. She is looking for someone who is looking for her. Even though when and if a connection is made, ultimately some doubt remains. For how much can we really know about one another? But by sharing with the listener, she touches the loneliness deep inside every individual, and thus creates a common bond. By the end of the song, a calm and peace is found. The singer and listener are here and there for each other.

Re: the second version (in limited availability and low quality).

I consider it, IWY-lite, or IWY just for laughs. Some shots are extended, the wildest one being the girl makes out a lot w/the dude, before he ditches her for Avril. At video's end when Avril kicks open the door, she's not alone anymore this time. Oh no. Her boys are waiting for her. Av hops on Evan for a piggyback ride, and they all run off into the night.

In honor of US Independence Day today I am proud to present tonight my fellow American, Avril Lavigne.

Sorry, Canada. Avril hasn't lived up there for a long time. Av follows on twitter the president of the United States, Barack Obama. She doesn't follow the prime minister of Canada, whoever that is. No offense, but she's as a free as a bird now. She's a free bitch. She's the one. So let's just say for today anyway, she is an American girl.

The 35th Annual American Music Awards was held on November 18, 2007, at the Nokia Theatre in LA, CA, USA. It was aired on national TV by the American Broadcast Company. Oops! I mean, ABC.

Avril performed the third single from her third album, 'Hot' off 'The Best Damn Thing.' This was Av's first time ever performing at the AMA's.

In addition, Avril was up for an award that night. This marked her second AMA nomination. Back in 2004, Avril was up for Favorite Pop/Rock Female Artist, along with Jessica Simpson and Sheryl Crow. Crow took home the prize.

In 2007, Av was nominated for Favorite Female Artist. This time she faced off against Beyoncé and Fergie. In '07, for the first time in AMA history, award winners were chosen via online votes. The usually resourceful Avril Bandaiders were not able to turn the tide.
The people picked Fergie.

In addition to Avril, performing at the '07 AMA's were the following: Chris Brown (Featuring T-Pain), Daughtry, Duran Duran, Celine Dion, Alicia Keys (Featuring Junior Reid, Beenie Man, and Chaka Demus and Pliers), Jonas Brothers, Maroon 5, Rascal Flatts, Rihanna (Featuring Ne-Yo), Nicole Scherzinger, Will.i.am, Mary J.Blige, Sugarland (Featuring Beyoncé), Queen Latifah, Toby Keith, Lenny Kravitz, and last but not least, Fergie. The Dutchess performed a medley of Top 5 hits: 'Clumsy', 'Big Girls Don't Cry,' and of course, 'Fergalicious.'

As for the performance of 'Hot,' as usual I could use just a little less Jim on the background vocals. But Avril nails it down so deep, so strong, she more than makes up for it. She makes me.

And I like the skirt a lot. I wish it was shorter of course. But then it wouldn't catch as much of the light as it does, and shine as bright, like she was so hot she was on fire. Because she was.

This concert took place the day before the release of Avril's second album, 'Under My Skin.' Following a 21-city Mall Tour of Canada and the US - acoustic sets performed by Avril with Evan - this electric set kicked off Avril's UMS, summer world, promo tour.

The show is hit-heavy, consisting of mostly old and new singles-to-come. It lasts about 40 minutes. The event was pro-shot, and aired live on the web at AOL. The concert took place at what was the exclusive live music venue for AOL’s New York Broadband Rocks series, Webster Hall.

Per Wikipedia, Webster Hall is a nightclub with a capacity of 2,500 people (including the club; 1,400 for the main stage). It is located in Manhattan, at 125 East 11th Street, between 3rd and 4th Avenues.

On the eve of the release of her eagerly anticipated second album, 'Under My Skin,' former AOL(R) Music Breaker artist Avril Lavigne Lavigne will perform a special live Broadband Rocks(TM) concert from New York.

"I'm really excited about my new album," said Avril Lavigne. "AOL has been with me since the beginning and I'm really looking forward to our show as a way to say 'thanks.'"

Lavigne was named an AOL Breaker artist in March of 2002, three months before the smash release of her debut album, 'Let Go.' The innovative promotional campaign for the release included the exclusive debut of the album's first single, "Complicated," as well as the premiere of the video, before radio or television. The First Listen and First View debuts, along with an appearance on Sessions@AOL and a full CD Listening Party of the album, received a total of 1.1 million interactions prior to the album's release and are considered major catalysts for 'Let Go''s phenomenal success. 'Let Go' has since sold 14 million copies worldwide.

In preparation for 'Under My Skin,' Lavigne again turned to AOL, before radio or TV, for the First Listen and First View debuts of her latest single and video, "Don't Tell Me." She also made a second appearance on Sessions@AOL and programmed her very own Celebrity DJ station for the AOL Radio@ Network, spinning songs from her favorite artists. The Broadband Rocks concert follows Lavigne's recently completed nationwide mall tour, which was sponsored by AOL for Broadband. 'Under My Skin' will be released on May 25, on RCA Records...

Through the promotion of this special Broadband Rocks live concert, AOL will help raise awareness and funds for children in Africa affected with HIV/AIDS through the charitable organization Keep a Child Alive, (www.keepachildalive.org). Avril Lavigne will be featured in a public service announcement as a part of the campaign. AOL has made an allotment of tickets available for purchase through StubHub, (www.stubhub.com); with all proceeds from the ticket sales going to benefit Keep a Child Alive.

AOL will also make tickets for the event available through giveaways on Z-100 in New York City and several Infinity Broadcasting radio stations around the country. Fans can also get tickets at select NY retail outlets and from Avril Lavigne's official fan club.

twm: As for the show's video presentation, there are too many shots of individuals singing in the crowd. There's only one singer I'm interested in here. But the concert is a 'thank you' to the fans, so who is this damn fan to complain?

I will just a bit more, anyway. Even more disappointing for me, is that jumpin' Jesse Colburn is now gone from the band. This is the first show without him after he joined her group. At the end of the summer, even more disappointing is that Evan Taubenfeld will exit as well. The two most dynamic stage-presences after Avril are thus *poof* A year later, Charlie Moniz and Matt Braun will have played their last shows. This will leave Avril and her fans with the end of her 'Let Go'/'Try To Shut Me Up' band, and instead just a bunch of studio musicians. But I am getting ahead of myself.

What is so great about this concert is many a splendored thing. This is the band's first show playing together before a crowd in almost exactly a year. And the band's first show playing the new material. There are a few miscues, but that just adds to the excitement.

Finally, what matters most as it has always been is, Avril. And here she is and has a damn blast! Avril has come back to the road as a rich, independent girl now. She has been reaping the financial rewards of her early, major success. She broke up with Jesse and is moving on in a big way. 'Don't Tell Me,' her new single, was at the time all over the radio and climbing the charts around the world. Here this was, the eve of Av dropping her second CD, an album that this time was all her own baby. She has become an established star now. On the verge of turning twenty, Av is expressing more of her sexuality, revealing more of her beauty. She is brimming with joy and confidence, and is ready to rock the world all over again.

I have never heard Avril thank a crowd so much. It seems like after every song. After one new number she declares, "Sweet-ah! It's awesome to be up here playing these songs, to you guys." In response to the crowd's rapturous delight with her rendition of 'I'm With You,' she announces, "And that! Is why I do what I do." At the end of the concert Avril shouts, "Have a good niiiiight!," her voice rising up on the word 'night' like she was roaring off into the sky and was calling on the world to join her. Av then tosses her pick into the crowd and walks off stage, throwing both hands up high in the air in triumph, in celebration, in anticipation.

Oh, she's back all right!

Well, we'll see. The best Avril remix IMHO may be 'I'm With You' (Leama & Moor Remix), but especially 'I'm With You' (Leama & Moor Dub). They are extended, spacey, trippy, moody and gorgeous. Unfortunately I cannot offer them here as they are official and are still readily available at online stores. If you don't have them, I highly recommend you seek them out as neither is on the new remix album.

Other official readily available remixes I recommend are: 'Girlfriend' - Junkie XL Remix (which is on the new remix album), and 'Girlfriend' - The Submarines' Time Warp '66 Mix (which is not).

EVER EVEN MORE HAPPY AVRIL'S NEW ALBUM'S GETTING CLOSE WEEK!

'A little video from the studio right now.' That is Avril's title for this video. She posted a link to it on her Twitter, MySpace and Facebook this past Sunday.

Despite having strep throat, Avril checks in with a self-filmed, laptop video report from Hensen Recording Studios in Hollywood. The vid was posted on Youtube by her producer this past Saturday night.

It has over 115,000 views now. (Sorry for the late post. Like Av, I too have been sick. Even beyond being delirious about seeing Avril once again... Now I was all over Avril's first-time chiming-in from Henson Studios, last Friday morning in the A-M forum. But it's not like anyone said they cared... I'm such a sick bitch.) So everyone here may already have seen/have this video, but here you are in case not. For if you haven't, you should. For contrary to rumor, Avril and I are bringing the love to the fans.

As you can see from the screencap above, Avril is in fab fun spirits. With the lights down low she reports in a soft voice, that she's been in the studio for the last 10 days straight working till 2 to 6 in the morning. That for the last couple of days prior she was on doctor's orders not to sing due to strep throat. But that the day of the video Av was feeling better and so she had sang some.

Avril introduces her new friend (to her left, above), with whom she's been writing songs. She calls her, 'Grizzly Bear.' Avril does not reveal just whom is this Grizzly Bear. GB is wearing shades, as well as a surgical mask due to Avril's contagious throat condition. And GB does not say anything.

Shiloh from Bandaids suspects GB may be Skylar Grey, and I concur. Avril just started following Skylar on Twitter. And Skylar re-tweeted this video.

Anyway, Avril gives a brief tour of the studio. Then she heads into the mix room to introduce us to her producer, Alex Da Kid, or as she calls him, "Alex The King." She has ADK play a little of bit of rocking that they've been working on, before giving us the peace, out.

Lindsay Lohan has received an average of 250 letters a day at her California jail since beginning her sentence, the Los Angeles Times reported Thursday.

“Most inmates don’t get as much mail as Ms. Lohan is getting,” said Steve Whitmore, a sheriff’s spokesman.

Lohan’s mail, like any other inmate at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, Calif., is checked for contraband before it is delivered to the 24-year-old starlet.

The “Mean Girls” actress can keep 10 letters at a time and can turn in read mail to receive new letters. In recent days she also received packages from Amazon.com. Inmates are permitted three magazines or books at any one time, Whitmore said.

TJI: Lindsay Judge Ignored Psychiatrist Suggestions

8/1/2010 1:00 AM PDT by TMZ Staff TMZ has learned Judge Marsha Revel ignored the advice of Lindsay Lohan's court appointed psychiatrists by ordering Lindsay to enter the Morningside rehab facility in Orange County.

Sources familiar with the case tell us the two psychiatrists -- selected by Judge Revel -- recommended four facilities, including UCLA Medical Center. Morningside was not on the list.

We're told several medical experts informed the judge UCLA was particularly well-suited to handle Lindsay because she needs to be treated for psychiatric and substance abuse issues -- both specialties at UCLA. Medical experts told the judge they could tailor a program at UCLA that could be especially effective -- but the judge would have none of it.

But we're told the judge rejected their recommendation and instead heeded the advise of a probation officer who favored the Morningside facility headquartered in Newport Beach. As we first reported, Lindsay will be at a satellite compound in nearby Costa Mesa.

Sources say David Gates, COO of Morningside Recovery, made a push to get Lindsay as a patient by assuring the judge he would actually be tougher on Lindsay than the average patient ... by cutting off communication between Lindsay and the outside world.

Lindsay's lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, declined to comment on this story.

Lindsay Lohan -- Rehab for Meth and Bipolar Disorder

TMZ has learned Lindsay Lohan will be treated for addiction to methamphethamine and bipolar disorder during her court ordered 90 days in rehab.

According to a source familiar with Lindsay's case, methamphetamine and opiates are her "drugs of choice".

Methamphetamine -- also known as crystal meth or simply meth -- is a highly addictive stimulant and opiates, generally, have more of a downer effect.

Morningside Recovery -- the Orange County, CA rehab Lilo's scheduled to enter -- lists opiate and methamphetamine detoxification among its specialties. As TMZ first reported, sources say Morningside was not on the list of facilities recommended by court appointed psychiatrists.

We're told Lindsay will begin her rehab stint almost immediately after getting out of Lynwood Correctional Facility.

Lindsay Lohan is not "a meth addict," her attorney Shawn Chapman Holley tells RadarOnline.com in an an exclusive interview. The famed lawyer was adamant that a story claiming otherwise is a complete "fabrication."

With Lindsay awaiting her imminent release from jail, the report surfaced Sunday morning on another website that Lindsay was going to be treated for methamphethamine addiction when she begins her 90 day court-ordered rehab stay.

But speaking to RadarOnline.com exclusively, Holley says, "The report that my client, Lindsay Lohan is going to be treated for methamphetamine addiction is categorically false. It's a fabrication, 100%. I have never seen anything that implies that my client has an issue with methamphetamine abuse."

While Holley would not elaborate on what specific addition LiLo will be treated for, she said, " Lindsay isn't a meth addict. I have no idea where that came from, but I can tell you, it's false."

A source close to Lindsay tells us, "she is looking forward to being released. Lindsay doesn't want to walk out the front doors of the jail when she is released. She doesn't want to face the cameras."

The insider goes on to tell us, "Lindsay will most likely be released very late Sunday night, going into Monday morning. it is still unclear if Lindsay will go straight to rehab, or be able to spend 24 hours with her family and friends before checking in.

Lindsay Lohan Headed to UCLA

TMZ has learned Judge Marsha Revel had a change of heart after TMZ's story about Lindsay's rehab -- and now she is headed for treatment at UCLA Medical Center ... exactly what her doctors wanted in the first place.

TMZ broke the story Judge Revel had selected Morningside Recovery -- despite the fact that the two court appointed psychiatrists along with other medical professionals were not recommending that facility. The shrinks put UCLA in their top four, but it was the facility favored by everyone because the treatment program was perfectly suited for Lindsay's psychiatric and drug problems.

We're told Lindsay will not be in the psych ward -- rather this is an intense specialized program to deal with psychological, as well as addiction problems.

Lindsay Lohan Released from Jail

Lindsay Lohan has been released from Lynwood Correctional Facility after serving 14 days behind bars.

A spokesman for the L.A. County Sheriff's Department told photogs gathered outside Lynwood that Lindsay was released at about 1:35 AM. She was taken to UCLA Medical Center to begin her rehab treatment.

Lohandemonium. That’s what it’s been like in the Complex office for the past few months, after getting the chance to shoot a cover story with one of our favorite actresses. Lindsay Lohan has had a crazy couple of ~~years~~ months, and we found ourselves at the center of her personal drama after our August/September cover shoot ended up in the tabloids back in May. Fast forward a couple of manic months, and her legal woes are coming to a head (LL reports to prison tomorrow), so we consider ourselves lucky to be able to present this super-sexy photoshoot just to remind everyone of just how bad (meaning good!) Lindsay is. Featuring art by none other than KAWS, the story kicks off our 2010 Style & Design Issue in ultimate Complex style. Unfortunately, Lindsay got caught up in the madness—Cannes, court, and conviction—before we had a chance to interview her, so we instead used the cover story to ask the question everyone’s forgetting: what’s it like to be LiLo right now? For all the hand-wringing and schadenfreude everyone seems to love indulging in, this is still a human being, and one who’s contending with a world that clearly wants her to fail. Not us, though—if it were our call, all she’d do is win. We got your back, Linds!

Washed up? Irrelevent? Not so fast, America, LL's world is already upside down. Now she's just returning the favor.

Rappers might be on that rock shit, but Lindsay Lohan is on that rap shit. Flaking on interviews? Check. Unrepentant bad behaviour? Check. Gully enough to ignore a bench warrant, come back from Europe for a legal hearing, and have her court-supplied alcohol bracelet go off at the MTV Movie Awards? Check and mate. She's Weezy, Yeezy, and motherfucking Jeezy all in one. Who else would choose her comeback vehicles to be Robert Rodriguez's Machete and the Linda Lovelace biopic, Inferno? That's gully on both counts. She may have been a Disney ingenue, but about five years ago she took a hard left, and we've been loving her for it—movies or no movies. So yea we've been angling to get her on the cover for a minute now. And when it happened? We're about to remind people that they've been underestimating Lindsay. We're about to ride out together, Bonnie and Clyde style. But some funny things happend on the way to making magic—and they reminded us that Lilo's not lost, she's just trying to hide from the vultures.

LOHANDEMONIUM: WHERE WE CAME IN...

1. Perez Hilton coins the term "Lindsanity," making it a daily feature on his site, and puts Lohan on 24-7 death watch. For the record, we prefer the term "Lohandemonium"—and we're glad Perez could see past the eye jammie Will.i.am's manager allegedly served up last year. We'd have gone with the two-piece-and-a-biscuit combo.

2. Several news sources, including the AP, announce that they have pre-written Lindsay's obituary so they don't have to scramble at the last minute like they did with Heath Ledger and Brittany Murphy. Former friends of Lindsay are quoted as saying, "I expect the call any minute now that she's dead." We're quoted as saying, "Is the reason that you're ‘former friends' because you're so backstabby that she cut you off?"

3. Estranged father Michael tries to sell rumors about her sex life—that she had an affair with Tommy Mottola when she was 17 and that she's HIV-positive—to websites and tabloids. When no one bites, he posts the "news" on his Twitter, only to later claim that his account had been hacked. You stay classy, Mike.

4. The Complex cover shoot! She shows up five hours late at 12:30 a.m.—earlier than we'd figured, actually. However, we don't get to start shooting until 3:45 a.m. Which is cool, since we had some sobering up to do ourselves. We keed!

5. The two photogs shooting the cover send a press release to tabloids claiming that the female photog and Lindsay are in a lesbian relationship. It turns out the photographers are trying to drum up publicity for their Bravo reality show, but LiLo quashes the rumor. At Complex, we remove the show's season pass from our DVR.

6. From the "When Keeping It Real Goes Wrong" files: In a hotel room during the Cannes Film Festival, Lindsay's photographed near what looks like Fun Dip that someone conveniently shaped into narrow lines. On a mirror. Danny Bonaduce and Corey Haim's ghost cluck their tongues disapprovingly.

7. She loses her passport while in Cannes, which causes her to miss the last of her alcohol awareness classes from a 2007 DUI and cocaine possession charge. News outfits delight in reporting that she'll be jailed upon her return. Must be nice to know everyone's rooting for you.

8. She avoids jail, thanks to a hearing that tabloids breathlessly report on. Included in the decision is Lindsay being forced to wear a rather clunky SCRAM (Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor) ankle bracelet. It's nicer than T.I.'s house arrest bracelet, but could still use a touch-up, so we ask KAWS to hook up an OriginalFake x L.A. County Corrections Department collabo. Still waiting to hear back on that one.

THE SAGA CONTINUES...

9. Not long after, she has her wisdom teeth removed, and goes on a Twitter rampage against detractors while recovering in bed. A wise man once said: "You wanna fuck with me? You fucking with the BEST!" And it wasn't even DJ Khaled.

10. Meanwhile, in an Elle cover profile, fellow actress Kristen Stewart is quoted as saying that Lohan is "off the rails" and talks smack about the Lohan family. Because her joyless ass was cast in a bullshit tweengasm movie, and thus other people's lives ARE HER BUSINESS.

11. Lindsay attends the MTV Movie Awards, rocking a pantsuit to cover up the SCRAM anklet. Thankfully, she leaves the twins subject to plenty of scrutiny. Then the shark that the MTV Movie Awards jumped over in 2005 jumps over another shark and sets itself on fire with a fat-suited Tom Cruise.

12. Later that night, at Katy Perry's afterparty, the SCRAM goes off, ostensibly because it detects a spike in LiLo's blood alcohol level. Her mother vehemently denies that Lindsay was drinking, claiming that the SCRAM was fooled by "too many energy drinks." We once had too many energy drinks, and all it did was make our pee burn. Of course, that could have been herpes.

13. Street artist Banksy throws up a stencil of Lindsay with red paint dripping from her nostrils—and below it, in the Coca-Cola font, the words "COKE DIET." No one notices it. Wait, no, it's the fucking Internet; the image gets passed around like a Dutch at a Rock the Bells concert.

14. Post-SCRAMgate, the judge sets LiLo's bail at $200,000—and once again, all the magazines that enjoy running pictures of celebrities in Starbucks parking lots hold their breath waiting to see if she will serve time.

So here we are. As we go to press, it's late June—more than a month since we shot these pictures—and we still haven't gotten our interview. Emails have gone unanswered; the same for voicemails we left with her mom, Dina. The photographers' agent, who's known Lindsay for a long time, admitted to us that he hasn't had contact with her for weeks. When you don't have a publicist and your personal assistant resigns, it's a lot easier to disappear. Look, Lindsay: hard as this is to believe, we get it. And when you're up on the tightrope, and the wind is whipping around you, and the whole world is waiting—fucking salivating—for you to fall, shit can feel cold. What makes it worse is that you've been fucked by everyone you were supposed to trust, everyone who told you they cared about you and had your best interests in mind. It's you against the world right now; We'd disappear, too. But know this: whenever you're ready, we're ready. And we haven't given up on you. So yeah, world, we got that white girl. But don't think you, or anyone, are gonna get more than she gives you. Ever.

Lindsay Lohan Is Sentenced to 90 Days in Jail

Dave Itzkoff, New York Times ArtsBeat, July 6, 2010 - Lindsay Lohan attended a probation revocation hearing at the Beverly Hills Courthouse in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

A judge in Los Angeles ruled on Tuesday that the actress Lindsay Lohan had violated the terms of her probation and sentenced her to 90 days in jail, The Associated Press reported.

Ms. Lohan, the “Mean Girls” and “Freaky Friday” star, was arrested twice in 2007 on charges of drunken driving. As part of her probation she was ordered to attend a hearing in May, in the courtroom of Judge Marsha Revel of Los Angeles County Superior Court, but missed that meeting. The judge briefly ordered a warrant for Ms. Lohan’s arrest, which was revoked when the actress posted $100,000 bail. (Ms. Lohan, who was attending the Cannes Film Festival, said her passport had been stolen.)

Ms. Lohan was fitted with a monitoring device, which detected the presence of alcohol in early June, and another warrant was issued. That was revoked when she posted $200,000 bail. But at that time Judge Revel said Ms. Lohan had violated the terms of her release.

The A.P. said Ms. Lohan was not required to immediately surrender but will have to turn herself in on July 20, and will have to enter an in-patient rehabilitation program after her release from jail.

Ms. Lohan previously spent about 90 minutes in jail in 2007, stemming from arrests for drunken driving and cocaine possession.

Lindsay Lohan Sentenced to Jail

TMZ Staff, 7.6.10 - Judge Marsha Revel sentenced LiLo after an incredulous prosecutor, Danette Meyers, told the judge that Lohan has been thumbing her nose at the court.

The evidence was loud and clear today -- Lindsay violated probation by failing to attend her alcohol ed classes based on the schedule set by the judge. There were lots of excuses, but ultimately they didn't fly.

The judge said there was a pattern of violations since Lindsay was placed on probation in 2007 following her plea bargain in her DUI case.

Lindsay broke down as she addressed the court, telling the judge, "I did the best I could."

Lindsay dissolved into tears when the judge imposed the sentence.

Lohan must surrender on July 20 in Judge Revel's court.

UPDATE: Sheriff's spokesperson Steve Whitmore just explained ... generally, a female inmate in Lindsay's situation only serves 25% of their sentence ... which means LiLo will most likely spend around 23 days behind bars.

By ANTHONY McCARTNEY, AP Entertainment Writer, July 9, 2010 - LOS ANGELES – Lindsay Lohan will be going to jail without one of her biggest advocates — her attorney.

The actress' attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, resigned from the case shortly after releasing a statement Thursday calling a judge's 90-day jail sentence for Lohan "harsh and unfair."

No reason for her withdrawal from the high-profile case was given, and her replacement has not been announced.

A representative for the seasoned defense attorney, who fought to keep the "Mean Girls" star out of jail during a daylong hearing Tuesday, said her earlier remarks about Lohan's sentence remained valid.

"Ms. Lohan and I are extremely disappointed in the sentence handed down by Judge (Marsha) Revel," Holley's statement had read. "We believe that the penalty is far harsher than what others would have received under similar circumstances.

"The reality is that Ms. Lohan, like most defendants, had to balance work commitments with court requirements. To be punished so severely for doing so, particularly in light of the fact that she substantially complied with each of her probationary conditions, is harsh and unfair," it said.

Holley said Lohan would serve her sentence, which because of overcrowding and budget cuts is likely to be much shorter than the three months ordered by the judge.

The attorney also said the 24-year-old actress would comply with the other terms of her sentence, which include a three-month stay in rehab and reporting to a probation officer for drug and alcohol testing.

Revel determined Lohan violated her probation on a 2007 drug and drunk driving case by missing seven alcohol education classes since December, when the judge ordered her to attend weekly sessions.

Holley first appeared in court March 2009 when the actress got in trouble with her former alcohol education program. The judge reinstated Lohan's probation after Holley cleared up what she called a misunderstanding.

The attorney, who was a member of O.J. Simpson's famed defense team, successfully kept Lohan out of trouble, even after her alcohol-education program reported problems with the star last year.

On Tuesday, Holley placed her arm around Lohan as she burst into tears while pleading for leniency and apologizing to the judge.

Thursday's statement was Holley's first public comment on the ruling. Neither she nor Lohan spoke to reporters after Tuesday's sentencing.

Lohan pleaded guilty in August 2007 to two misdemeanor counts of being under the influence of cocaine; no contest to two counts of driving with a blood-alcohol level above 0.08 percent and one count of reckless driving. She was sentenced to three years of probation.

The plea came after a pair of high-profile arrests earlier that year.

She has struggled with the terms of her probation since then, which culminated in the judge revoking her probation in May and forcing her to wear an alcohol ankle monitor.

TMZ Staff, 7/8/2010 - TMZ has learned ... Lindsay Lohan's lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, has resigned as LiLo's lawyer.

TMZ called Holley for comment on a story we're working on, and she informed us she is no longer repping Lindsay. Sources tell us Holley resigned earlier today.

As for who Lindsay will be hiring ... we're told she's a brand new lawyer, Tiffany Feder-Cohen, who was just admitted to the bar in November.

As for what Lindsay wants her to do ... stay tuned. We'll tell you shortly.

Suns to wear 'Los Suns' jerseys for Game 2

PHOENIX – The Phoenix Suns will wear "Los Suns" on their jerseys in Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals on Wednesday night, owner Robert Sarver said, "to honor our Latino community and the diversity of our league, the state of Arizona, and our nation."

The decision to wear the jerseys on the Cinco de Mayo holiday stems from a law passed by the Arizona Legislature and signed by Gov. Jan Brewer that has drawn widespread criticism from Latino organizations and civil rights groups that say it could lead to racial profiling of Hispanics. President Barack Obama has called the law "misguided."

Sarver, who was born and raised in Tucson, said frustration with the federal government's failure to deal with the illegal immigration issue led to the passage of what he called "a flawed state law."

"However intended, the result of passing the law is that our basic principles of equal rights and protection under the law are being called into question," he said, "and Arizona's already struggling economy will suffer even further setbacks at a time when the state can ill-afford them."

The measure makes it a crime under state law to be in the country illegally, and it directs local police to question people about their immigration status and demand to see their documents if there is reason to suspect they are illegal.

The controversy surrounding the law has led to picketing at some road games of baseball's Arizona Diamondbacks and a call from the Rev. Jesse Jackson for major league baseball to move next year's All-Star Game from Phoenix.

Sarver came up with the "Los Suns" jersey idea but left it up to the players for the final decision, Suns guard Steve Nash said, and all of them were for it.

"I think it's fantastic," Nash said after Tuesday's practice. "I think the law is very misguided. I think it's, unfortunately, to the detriment of our society and our civil liberties. I think it's very important for us to stand up for things we believe in. As a team and as an organization, we have a lot of love and support for all of our fans. The league is very multicultural. We have players from all over the world, and our Latino community here is very strong and important to us."

Nash was born in South Africa and moved with his parents to Victoria, British Columbia, when he was 1 1/2 years old. He was one of four Canadians to light the torch in the opening ceremony of the Vancouver Olympics this year.

San Antonio coach Gregg Popovich said his team was interested in taking part but couldn't get new "Los Spurs" road jerseys in time for the game.

"It's a wonderful idea," Popovich said. "because it kind of shows what we all should be about. Sure there needs to be a lot of work done, obviously. A lot of administrations have done nothing about the immigration deal and now everybody's paying the price, especially a lot of people in Arizona. That's a bad thing, but the reaction is important, too, and this reaction (the Arizona law), I believe with Mr. Sarver, is inappropriate."

Phoenix general manager Steve Kerr said he and Sarver talked about making the gesture as the team flew home from Portland last week.

"We just felt like it was important," Kerr said. "We're in the public eye and this is obviously a huge issue. We acknowledge there are two sides to the issue and there are a lot of dynamics. It's a difficult thing to sift through and there are going to be differing opinions. But what we're focusing on is we want to celebrate the diversity that exists in our state and the diversity that exists in the NBA, make sure that people understand that we know what's going on and we don't agree with the law itself."

The NBA Players Association released a statement criticizing Arizona's immigration law and praising the Suns for the gesture.

"We applaud the actions of Phoenix Suns players and management and join them in taking a stand against the misguided efforts of Arizona lawmakers," the NBAPA said. "We are consulting with our members and our player leadership to determine the most effective way for our union to continue to voice our opposition to this legislation."

But Kerr said "this isn't a huge political stand as much as it is just a celebration of diversity."

He said the Suns called the NBA for approval "and they were all for it."

Suns coach Alvin Gentry didn't want to comment on Arizona's immigration bill and said he was focused on showing appreciation for the Latino community and Arizona's diversity.

"I'm not trying to duck it," Gentry said. "I don't know enough about it to really comment on it. I would think that if it had anything to do with racial profiling, then obviously as an African-American I would not be for anything that had any hint of racial profiling."

The Suns wore the "Los Suns" jerseys twice in the regular season, and won both games.

"It's going to be great to wear Los Suns," Phoenix's Amare Stoudemire said, "to let the Latin community know that we're behind them 100 percent."

Two Arizona cities to sue over immigration law

By the CNN Wire Staff, May 5, 2010 -- The city councils in two of Arizona's largest cities have voted to file suit over the state's controversial new immigration law, which allows police to ask anyone for proof of legal U.S. residency.

The Tucson City Council voted 5-1 to file suit, and the city council in Flagstaff approved a similar measure 7-0. Both votes occurred Tuesday.

Members of the Phoenix Suns basketball team, meanwhile, plan to wear jerseys that say "Los Suns" in a playoff game Wednesday as "a way for our team and our organization to honor our Latino community," managing partner Robert Sarver said in a statement.

Opposition to the law continued Wednesday, with some civil rights and labor organizations saying they will announce a boycott Thursday.

Joining in Thursday's announcement will be the National Council of La Raza, which bills itself as the largest national Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization in the United States; the Asian American Justice Center; the Center for Community Change; the Service Employees International Union; and the United Food and Commercial Workers, the groups said in a release.

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer signed the immigration measure April 23. It is scheduled to go into effect this summer.

Critics say the law will lead to racial profiling. Brewer and others who support the law say it does not involve racial profiling or any other illegal acts.

The city councils said they passed the measures because of concerns over enforcement costs and negative effects on Arizona's tourism industry. Opponents of the immigration law have called for a boycott of Arizona tourism and urge that no one engage in any commerce with businesses located in the state.

In Tucson, council member Regina Romero introduced a motion for "the city attorney to bring a legal challenge" because the immigration bill is "a bad law, which could cost the city millions of dollars in lawsuits and is unconstitutional."

"This bill opens the door to racial profiling, and it puts Latinos in Arizona in automatic suspect mode," Romero said.

Tucson Mayor Bob Walkup said up to 38 percent of retail sales in the city come from legal Mexican visitors.

The state immigration law threatens those businesses, Walkup said, just when "the city is just beginning to recover from the economic downturn."

The Mexican government issued an advisory to its citizens last week to avoid travel in Arizona.

The Organization of American States expressed its concern about the law last week, and presidents of South American countries meeting in Argentina for a gathering of the Union of South American Nations condemned the law Tuesday.

Well-known Mexican writer Carlos Fuentes recommended this week that dark-skinned people, men with mustaches, women who use shawls, or anyone who does not speak English well should not go to Arizona because the state has "officially declared itself racist," the government-run Notimex news service reported Wednesday.

The Phoenix Suns basketball team also criticized the new law.

Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan has been photographed walking to purchase large amounts of cocaine over the weekend.

Lohan, best known for starring in the hit show, TMZ, has earned the scorn of the nation for actually walking somewhere. Disreputable paid sources have gone on record stating that Lohan was spotted walking towards a giant mountain of “fine” cocaine adjacent to Bluebird Bakery on National Blvd in Culver City, CA.

“When I saw that picture of Lindsay Lohan, I pretty much knew that she was heading out to score some coke,” said an online commenter going by the name of “FunBoy23LA.” “I mean, just look at her, she has a handbag, she’s on the phone, what else could she be doing? Going to get a cupcake? Get real. She’s after coke.”

The picture of Lohan shows the starlet in boots and wearing a blonde wig, due to what mysterious, and probably made-up insiders call “f*cking bald virus from doing too much coke.”

“I heard LiLo has penises for fingers, snorts gasoline off trucker’s thighs and dances in a Barney suit for cash every Thursday for Saudi Arabian businessmen,” says PantyRaid2008. “It’s true. My friend knows the maid that cleaned up after her when she was at a hotel in Arizona.”

The Lohan camp has called each story “deplorable and completely false.”

Not so says ApeChoke1: “OMG! Lindsay is high on crack — she has no idea where she is. Look at that new picture! She’s walking to sell baby giraffes for cocaine by that bakery. Everybody knows that there is a heap of coke by there. I bet there is a baby giraffe in her purse. Bitch. I love baby giraffes!”

If I were the judge in that case I'd throw away the key on him.

This "doctor" says he does not know Lindsay or if she has a problem, but he prescribes a treatment anyway. He could say the same thing about the president or anyone else for that matter. Drew is a sham. Lindsay's own father uses the media to relentlessly harass and humiliate his daughter, and Drew seconds that attack. Drew compounds her father's behavior, adding to her stress by pig-piling on.

Lindsay is right. Drew is not a real doctor. He is not professional. He has no ethics. Privacy means nothing to him. Drew-gooder is a celebrity shrink, out for celebrity and riches. He gloms off the glam of others for his own pathetic addiction to fame. He is the one who needs an intervention. Shame on him.

The $100 million lawsuit pop-tart Lindsay Lohan filed against E-Trade Financial Corp. this week over a 30-second Super Bowl spot from its agency Grey, New York, appears to have been a crowdsourced effort by friends and random fans of Ms. Lohan on Twitter.

A quick look back at her Twitter page shows that Ms. Lohan was watching the Feb. 7 Super Bowl broadcast, and its commercials, closely. She tweeted with some shock during the game: “Did that just happen? On that commercial? Or am I wrong? 5:44 PM Feb 7th via UberTwitter.”

It appears that tweet was referring to the E-Trade spot “Girlfriend” — one of two commercials the repeat Super Bowl advertiser had in the game this year — in which we see a baby talking to his girlfriend about the importance of building a diversified portfolio, while she fumes wondering what else he’s been up to. The girl baby says: “And that milkoholic Lindsay wasn’t over?”

The style of the ad is much like ones before it in the “Talking Babies” series, in which the babies say something snarky and off-color. (Incidentally, Bob Garfield gave the commercial high marks.)

Ms. Lohan’s lawyer, Stephanie Ovadia, did not immediately return a request for comment, but alleges the spot is clearly a reference to her client. She told the New York Post: “Many celebrities are known by one name only, and E-Trade is using that knowledge to profit. … They used the name Lindsay.” She went on to say: “They’re using her name as a parody of her life. Why didn’t they use the name Susan? This is a subliminal message. Everybody’s talking about it and saying it’s Lindsay Lohan.”

Indeed, a lot of people were talking about it on Twitter in the aftermath of the spot’s airing — with many egging Ms. Lohan on to file a lawsuit against E-Trade. Wrote someone named Ryan Curtis: “@lindsaylohan I would sue if I was you,” and later saying “@lindsaylohan I really think you should look into it. It wasn’t funny and rude.”

She replied back to several of the comments, but seemed to take it in stride, if not be amused by it. Wrote Ms. Lohan to @bigbillybmoney “hahahaha vitamin D never tasted so good!” Another person named Alex Rodil joked with Lohan: “U darn milkoholic! HeHe” and attached this photo to the tweet.

To others, she suggested that the E-Trade ad might even spur on a second round of her “Got Milk” campaign from back in the day. Wrote Ms. Lohan: “@MissCarlaJeann :) @Eleven_11 i did a Got Milk campaign quite a bit ago- maybe it’s time for round 2?!??!”

Whether her suit holds up in court remains to be seen; she’s seeking an injunction to stop airing the ads and $100 million in damages. But it’s pretty surprising that before filing the suit she didn’t delete her Twitter comments.

E-Trade’s agency, Grey, and CBS, which broadcast the Super Bowl and sold the air time, are not believed to be named in the suit.

E-Trade did not immediately return a request for comment.

BY Issie Lapowsky, NY DAILY NEWS STAFF WRITER, February 10th 2010 -- It's true – Lindsay Lohan has had it rough the last couple of years, but likening herself to Jesus on the cross? That's a bit extreme.

The cover of the most recent issue of French fashion mag Purple features the platinum-blond 23-year-old dressed in a white gown with her arms outstretched with a crown of thorns on her head.

The mastermind behind this biblical shoot was none other than fashion photographer Terry Richardson, reports E! Online.

While it may be over the top, it's easy to see what Richardson was going for. It can't be easy being Lindsay, after all, especially these days.

The actress took to Twitter Tuesday night to refute RadarOnline's recent report that her relationship with on-and-off girlfriend Samantha Ronson had allegedly turned violent.

"This is become a bit much," Lohan tweeted. "Samantha R never raised a hand to me, I've never said she did. Enough is Enough. Focus on other more important world issues."

Lately, Lohan has also been fending off rumors that she hooked up with Jessica Alba's hubby Cash Warren - allegations that Alba vehemently denies.

"It's just so ridiculous and it's not even close to being the truth," the 28-year-old new mom said in the March issue of British Cosmopolitan. According to Alba, she and LiLo are actually friends.

"Lindsay's had to deal with this for so long," Alba said. "Everyone has to live their life, and that's what people forget when you're in this business - she's really nice. We hang out and chat for hours about girl stuff."

Meanwhile, Alba said Lohan and Warren may be working on a TV show together that is "ironically, about the ridiculousness of tabloids."

Lindsay Lohan’s Ungaro Debut Deemed Disastrous

nymag.com/daily/fashion, 10/5/09 - Yesterday the house of Emanuel Ungaro presented the first collection designed by Estrella Archs under the artistic advisement of Lindsay Lohan, whose multiyear contract with the house is reportedly worth millions. The fashion world laughed when Lindsay's appointment was announced — and we can all but hear their saddened chortling from this coast the morning after her Paris disaster. You see, while we in the United States are somewhat used to celebrities starting fashion lines that may even become successful (Justin Timberlake, Gwen Stefani, etc.), Europeans are not. Of course the fashion world as a whole is snobby, too, but it probably has a right to be when a troubled 23-year-old actress convinces a storied European house to send glittery heart-shaped nipple pasties down the runway. Those pasties left several in yesterday's audience "aghast," according to the Times. WWD called the collection "an embarrassment," adding it looked "cheesy and dated" with an "overworked" heart motif. Lohan, the paper adds, failed to infuse the label with a more youthful sensibility, which was one reason Ungaro CEO Mounir Moufarrige said he hired her (after her publicity-generating power).

The Times had the pleasure of hanging out with Lohan in the Ungaro office:

The day before the show, Ms. Lohan was staring at herself in a mirror in Ungaro’s grand offices on the Avenue Montaigne, a stone’s throw from the ateliers of Yves Saint Laurent, Givenchy and other famous French labels. She picked up a black and white scarf and tied it around her head, then replaced it with a black one, and then clumsily stuck a red sequin-covered heart to the side of her head while a team of designers watched her...

“This is just so cool,” Ms. Lohan said, turning her attention to a white minidress splattered with sequins. “It needs more rhinestones, just so it pops.” Off to the seamstress it went. Pointing to another white dress, she said: “I call it Michelle Pfeifer in ‘Scarface.’ I was just in my office sketching for next season. I was here until, like, one o’clock last night.”

Did we not tell you she was working hard? Anyway, designer Estrella Archs said backstage after the show the collection "had to be designed very quickly." But that was hardly an excuse in the eyes of the fashion press. WWD adds:

This storied house has been in disarray for years, and though Archs’ debut provided no indication that she’s up to the challenge, she should be given the chance to find out without a younger, nonskilled judge with theoretical veto power hovering about. (Let’s just say the ladies’ joint bow didn’t radiate chemistry.)

Perhaps Moufarrige is right to remain unfazed following the terrible reviews of this show (he was surprised they weren't worse, actually). If Lohan's debut has led to Mean Girls on the runway — an ingenious, spectacular new melding of every woman's favorite things, bitchery and fashion — he at least has a successful movie script in the works if his clothes don't sell despite all this newfound publicity. Lindsay can even play herself and revive her acting career!

nymag.com/daily/fashion, 2/8/10 -- Lindsay Lohan tweeted a while back about a Purple shoot involving the magazine's editor, Olivier Zham, her little sister Ali, and Ungaro. Turns out that in addition to a spread, she got the cover, on which she poses like Jesus, naturally, with her arms outstretched and a crown of thorns. We figured that as the artistic adviser and public face of Emanuel Ungaro she would wear the label exclusively (or close to it) in the spread. After all, it's not uncommon for fashion magazines like Purple to devote entire spreads to one label. And with Ungaro floundering, some kind of promotion is necessary. But in an image leaked on the Fashion Spot, Lohan wears Zac Posen. On the cover she is not wearing the infamous heart-shaped nipple pasties from the spring Ungaro collection, which makes sense because Purple is the last magazine that would try to hide nipples, but still, the piece doesn't appear to be Ungaro. In a video of her shoot with Richardson, Lohan wears look 23 from Alexander McQueen's spring collection.

A past video from the set of one of Richardson's Purple shoots revealed Natasa Vojnovik screaming like a crazy, possessed person. In this video, Lindsay shrieks like a banshee for Richardson's lens, too. Only she seems embarrassed by it.

Huh. We always thought Purple shoots were much weirder.

Well now it seems that Lindsay’s dream could actually become a reality, producer Rodney Jerkins aka Darkchild is keen to get Lindsay back in the studio with not only himself but also Lady GaGa too.

“I can pair them up,” says Jerkins, whose most recent collaboration was on Gaga’s “Telephone” featuring Beyoncé. “I would love it. I would love to see what could happen.”

“If she stays focused, I think she has what it takes,” Jerkins told reporters this weekend at the Clive Davis/Recording Academy pre-Grammy party at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. “I’ve talked to her, and I said, ‘You’ve got what it takes. I really believe in you.’ “

So Brown is making gay-marriage a major issue huh, running past my brain a campaign promoting ignorance and hate. Well, that I won't tolerate.

A fan present writes, "We were at the Agora on 8/30 or 31/1978. We had tried desperately to get tickets for Bruce that night at the Coleseum but it got sold out. The Agora Gig was actually a Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes Gig that started about 3 Hours late because, as Southside stated, they had to wait for their lead guitarist (Miami Steve) to get done with another gig across town. Bruce joined the band in the second set and they rocked into the wee hours of the night neither the band nor the crowd wanted to leave.. it was about 4am when we finally got home (with little, or no voice)."

12.02.1999 -- (The Daily Bleed) US: WTO Day Three; World Trade Organization delegates meet as the core 50 block area of downtown Seattle is declared off-limits to protesters & most businesses in the area close.

The "civil emergency" declared on the 1st, & a curfew, remain in effect. Over 225 protesters arrested & held overnight & denied access to lawyers or phones as shoppers continue to flee to the malls. For the second night in a row, police & protesters clash in the nearby Capitol Hill area, where many residents are gassed or shot with rubber bullets. Protests continue in other US cities & around the world as well (6,000 in the Philippines).

Seattle media begins to blame confrontations & acts of vandalism on Oregon's Eugene Anarchists.

It was largely these protesters, sometimes swelling to 100, who broke windows throughout downtown, spray-painted the anarchist logo of an A in a circle on walls, windows & police cars, & punctured the tires of police cruisers, limousines & other cars.
A movement of young anarchists in Eugene surrounds local writer John Zerzan, according to a recent Seattle Weekly article. A message from Eugene anarchists published in that paper criticized unions & other WTO opponents a "part of the glue holding a rotting order together."

Controversial Gossip Girl 'threesome' episode goes ahead despite protests from worried parents

A controversial episode of Gossip Girl which featured characters engaging in an apparent threesome was finally aired last night despite protests from worried parents.

Co-star's Hilary Duff, Jessica Szohr and Penn Padgely were seen passionately kissing each other and lying in bed together during a series of steamy scenes.

The Parents Television Council had previously asked network CW to pull the episode amid concerns that it would influence impressionable young viewers.

The blonde is seen passionately kissing her boyfriend Dan (played by Penn Badgely), fin the episode followed by roommate Vanessa (Jessica).

Last to kiss are childhood friends Dan and Vanessa and the trio are then seen lying in bed alongside each other.

Earlier this week Tim Winter, president of the PTC, told US magazine the threesome storyline was ‘reckless and irresponsible.’

Hilary, 22, recently joined the cast as a famous film star in search of the normal college experience.

The character was inspired by Harry Potter star Emma Watson, who enrolled at Brown University in September.
