AVRIL-MEDIA EXCLUSIVE: This video gets its premier right here and now on A-M. Do you believe it?
Avril appeared on MuchMusic TV's Intimate and Interactive on Friday night, May 28, 2004. This live performance/interview program followed three days after the release of her second album, Under My Skin.
This show marked the second, full-band performance of the UMS promo tour. The first being AOL Broadband Rocks, which took place four days earlier on May 24 in NYC.
Intimate and Interactive is a HQ, pro-shot video. The picture is very good, and the sound is excellent. We are offering a good M2V, as well as a sweet upgrade. It is an NTSC-DVD VOB, with a larger, clearer picture. This was offered not long ago on the torrent site, dimeadozen. But it has since been removed, and appears not to be available elsewhere on the Internet.
So here is once again another A-M exclusive, just for you. Only the good stuff for my good friends.

twm: Well, I think I might say some more, if you will. Just thought I'd start an Avril-Media forum post as a place to list upgrades to existing files at Avril-Media. This so that Avril fans may become aware of their very small but substantial existence. But with no selling involved. We give it all away for free.
Sometimes a file upgrade will demand its own new post, such as moving on up to HD. But at other times, minor upgrades may be added to existing file posts. Or say, HQ alternatives with smaller file sizes. Say no more!
So how does anyone know? How will fans who already have the original file listed, know there is something new now worth checking out? Well, this is an attempt to rectify that situation, to help to spread the knowledge.
Of course, that will mean uploaders will need remember to add to this list when the time comes, and members to read it.
So every once in a while, check back in here, and you may discover new nuggets of Avril fun.

Alas, while A-M tracks the number of file views, it does not show if anyone has downloaded/snatched anything at all.
I have never said that before here. Now you know.
Comments help uploaders determine whether there is interest out there for the type of file that was just uploaded. Comments or the lack thereof, can be a major determining factor of what to post, or even whether to post or not at all in the future.
So if there are no comments, if a conclusion is to be thus drawn, it's that the post is of no apparent use to anyone.
I don't want to waste your time whining about it. So I will try to make this is the last time I bring up the subject. Thank you for reading.

Per Wikipedia, 'Intimate and Interactive is the title of a television program aired on the Canadian music video channel MuchMusic. It is not a regularly scheduled program, but airs on average three or four times a year, and features contemporary artists live in concert at the CHUM-City Building. There is another version of the show on their sister station, MuchMoreMusic.
Typically, the artist will venture outside with the VJ to interact and answer questions from the fans waiting outside to see them.
Intimate and Interactive first appeared in 1992.'

Review:
The show is great except for the damn screaming meemies.
Are all the chicks in the crowd gay? I more than doubt it.
So if not, why are they screaming at a girl so much? Not after but during the songs.
Cause they want to be heard. The herd wants to be seen and heard on TV.
"Fuck Avril - I'm on TV!"
It's all about them. Talk about interactive.

Go take your insufferable noise to the Jonas Brothers show.
How does Avril ever stand it?
'VOTE' with your applause, not with your high-pitched yelling during her singing, OK?
I exaggerate, of course. I shouldn't be so harsh. And it's not really the fault of the fans. It's the point of the whole show, the 'Interactive' bit. It's the fault of the show's cameras. They keep turning to the crowd. Provoking them to lose their grip.
The crowd screams extra-loud through any and all talking, making the interviews an endurance test.
How do I stand the I&I interview, with all the extra helping of 'fans' roaring, with no music to drown them out?
Watch once then skip.

Avril is especially sweet and fun where she talks about how she gets along with different members of her band. That is a gas.
As for the music, I quite like the hard rocking on 'Take Me Away' and 'Unwanted,' where the band lay down the thunder and blast away the crowd's shouts for attention.
On 'Take Me Away,' for the very first time I believe, Avril adds the line, 'Rape me away.'
Coincidence?
(Probably.)
I know I am being mean old me, but I am not addressing that crowd now, as far as I know. I was young once, but I always came to see and hear, not to be seen and heard.
There are some highs here though that the yelling whippersnappers do not manage to ruin, so I am grateful to them for that. Thank you!
Again, I am getting carried away. The show is really fun. See for yourself.

Maybe because that night the song is so new, a bit deep and somewhat of a downer, the insanity hushes long enough to let Av really sing here.
Just like just about every version I've heard, but even more so, this NH is a doozy.
Not that anyone is asking, but IMHO NH is Av's best vocal and song, the song of the decade. The song's sweep always gets to me.
The album 'Under My Skin' came from a dark time and place. Avril says, she wrote the song NH about someone else. But at its core it's about anyone and everyone. From 'No Direction Home,' to what the hell 'There's Nobody Home' anyway...
The brilliant performance of this NH is worth the download alone.
